Presbywhat and Refowho?

For as many years as I can remember, I have identified myself as Presbyterian and Reformed. But what does this mean? I feel a lot like the Christian who enthusiastically waves his hand when asked from the pulpit to indicate who is a follower of Christ, but slinks down when asked to say what book follows Obadiah in the hopes of not being called on to demonstrate the shallowness of his faith!
So I want to learn my roots. I want to know my heritage. I want to understand what I am truly claiming when I claim to stand in the presbyterian tradition of the reformed movement. The blog is an attempt to discover that.
